California Highway Patrol is seeking more eyewitnesses to the accident. There is no such thing as having too many eyewitnesses. There are people visiting this site and the different blogs who witnessed the accident that may have information that the Highway Patrol does not have, and even if they have it, it can be helpful to verify information.
Witnesses can call the California Highway Patrol at 650-369-6261 and ask to be connected to the voice mail of Officer Arthur Montiel (he is the lead investigator of the accident investigation). They should leave their phone number and name and state that they are an eyewitness to the accident and that they want Officer Montiel to call back. He will return the call and take a statement over the phone.
If witnesses are not comfortable doing this they can contact Jerry Wolkoff (Steve’s Dad) at jerrynmn1@aol.com.

It may be of some help to find this venue (farm) and what exact event was occuring that day…50 people seems unusual and lucky for those seeking more information.

I already spoke to Jered the owner of the Pie ranch and he said only 4 employees/members actually saw the accident- I made sure that CHP has interviewed all of them- Keep those ideas coming as I might miss something but the Pie Ranch has been done-Most of the 50 people did Not see the crash and heard it band then went to the scene-They are not considered eye wittnesses exceot for the 4 jered found. But there are alot of peo[le out thereb who are eyewittnesses and have not come forward-So ideas are welcome as to how to find them-Meantime I have foound 3 new eyewittnesses who logged onto this blog and contacted me and CHP ntook their statements over the phone- So our message on this blog is working
